cELEBRATE COMMUNITY THROUGH DANCE

The Dance Together Festival transforms public spaces and celebrates community through diverse and inclusive dance workshops, vibrant visual art and live music. The festival offers free workshops and events that centre on positive and accessible dance experiences. Open to all ages, levels and abilities.

In 2024, we are back in Mimico on July 12-14 with open dance workshops in Hip Hop, West African, Swing, Flamenco, Brazilian Forró and Cuban Salsa. This year will also feature live bands, social dancing and performances on the dance floor mural! Open to all levels, ages and abilities.

The festival is co-produced by a creative team of local dance and visual artists. Supported by Toronto Arts Foundation, Arts in the Parks, Lakeshore Arts, Mimico BIA , Assembly Park, York Region Arts Council, City of Vaughan and Richmond Hill Public Library.
