Throughout July and August, the festival transformed Mimico Square in Amos Waites Park into an open- air dance space with FREE workshops on a vibrant dance floor mural co-designed by Natalie Very B and members of the Mimico community! Over 400 community members, 12 visual artists and 14 dance artists joined us between July 9 and August 13, 2022 for styles including Vernacular Jazz, Latin Fusion, Cuban Salsa, West African, Vogue, Hip Hop, Soca and Contemporary Indigenous and Inclusive Site-Specific Dance.

The interactive dance floor mural remained open for everyone to explore till June 2023 and is now available to explore in YOUR space through Augmented Reality thanks to the “Spark” Tourism Innovation Grant and our friends at actuality.live !
