2019

The first Dance Together Festival took place in Amos Waites Park in June 2019. With the support of Arts in the Parks, it brought together about 600 people in the Mimico neighbourhood for eleven free dance workshops in Swing, Salsa, Street Dance, Integrated Dance, Folk Dance and more! The vision to open access to dance for everyone became a reality and the festival received an overwhelmingly positive response from the participants of many generations, backgrounds and abilities. In addition, the event was pedal-powered thanks to a collaboration with Tune Your Ride. Take a look at the list of all our featured artists.
